This role focuses on handling Defense Base Act claims, providing legal analysis, and communication with various stakeholders including clients and the Department of Labor.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with docket involving Defense Base Act claims
  • Provide sound legal analysis and draft petitions
  • Review, analyze, and summarize claims documents
  • Conduct legal analysis of files to determine likelihood of recovery
  • Participate in conferences with the Department of Labor
