Overview

The Assisted Living Director at Brightview Senior Living is responsible for leading the delivery of exceptional care to residents in a collaborative environment. This role involves supervising a team of Medication Technicians and Resident Assistants, ensuring that residents' needs are met with vibrancy, and contributing to their overall well-being.

Key responsibilities

  • Select, build, coach, and supervise a team of Medication Technicians and Resident Assistants
  • Ensure all performance standards regarding mission, quality, and safety are met
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust staffing schedules to meet service standards and budget
  • Conduct routine rounds of the community and participate in resident assessments
  • Assist in the development of Resident Services Plans
  • Participate in regular resident and family meetings
  • Conduct new hire training and monthly in-service trainings

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, social science, or business discipline
  • Minimum three years' experience in health care or senior living environment
  • Minimum two years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
