Overview

Janie and Jack is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to play a pivotal role in store management and operations. The ideal candidate will champion business success by leading the team, driving exceptional results, and fostering an engaging shopping environment focused on customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Support General Manager in day-to-day store operations to meet KPIs.
  • Develop clear action plans for the store in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Model sales generation and enhance customer focus among staff.
  • Create and implement visual merchandising strategies to boost sales.
  • Utilize tools to enhance the customer experience.
  • Motivate the team to achieve business goals through strong business acumen.
  • Foster a positive work environment emphasizing diversity and teamwork.
  • Assist in recruiting and building a dynamic team in line with business objectives.
  • Identify training needs and implement training plans to elevate team performance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • 2-4 years of retail sales experience, preferably in management
  • Proven leadership experience in sales and profit generation
  • Training skills for team development in product knowledge and selling
  • Experience with merchandising strategies and visual set changes
  • Strong communication and accountability skills
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 pounds
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
