Overview

Janie and Jack is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and drive exceptional sales results. This role requires strong leadership to coach the team, enhance customer experiences, and implement effective merchandising strategies, all while fostering a positive and diverse work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support General Manager in managing day-to-day store operations to meet KPIs
  • Develop action plans to achieve store objectives and timelines
  • Lead by example in sales generation with exceptional customer focus
  • Create and implement visual merchandising strategies to increase sales
  • Motivate and inspire team to exceed business goals through effective selling
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity
  • Assist in recruiting and building a dynamic team based on future business needs
  • Identify training needs and implement training plans to enhance employee performance
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 2-4 years of retail sales experience with management experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of exceeding sales and profits
  • Training skills to elevate team product knowledge and selling abilities
  • Experience in implementing merchandising strategies
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills
