Overview

This role is for a Family Medicine Physician in Ketchikan, Alaska, offering a 6-month contract starting in May 2026. Physicians will work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in an outpatient clinic with no call responsibilities, providing full-spectrum family medicine services.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum family medicine care in an outpatient clinic
  • Manage 16-18 patients per day
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records
  • Perform optional clinical procedures as per experience
  • Maintain a predictable weekday schedule

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Active Alaska medical license
  • DEA certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Recent outpatient experience across all ages
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
