Vitruvian Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Aftermarket Design Engineer to focus on retrofitting and upgrading existing equipment. The role involves hands-on reverse engineering, creating detailed 3D models, and collaborating with teams to enhance product performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

  • Support aftermarket parts business through reverse engineering
  • Capture precise measurements using tools like calipers and micrometers
  • Create detailed 3D models and drawings
  • Design retrofit solutions for improved performance and safety
  • Travel to customer sites for equipment evaluation and installation support
  • Collaborate with service teams on field issues
  • Provide technical insights for sales opportunities
  • Document designs, measurements, and changes
  • Develop standard kits and upgrade packages
  • Identify opportunities for design improvements

Required skills
