Overview

TDI, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. The role focuses on the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
  • Review invoices for proper approvals and coding
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure current documentation is on file
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 1-3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
