Overview

MinistryHub is partnering with First Church Jonesboro to find a Youth Pastor who will lead a dynamic and impactful youth ministry. The church values the next generation and is looking for a relational leader willing to invest in students and empower volunteers in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead weekly youth services and small group discipleship gatherings
  • Preach engaging, Christ-centered messages on relevant topics
  • Develop a healthy small group culture for spiritual growth
  • Provide pastoral care and counseling to students and families
  • Mentor students toward lifelong faith and leadership
  • Lead and support a team of 20+ adult volunteers
  • Create a relational ministry culture at student events
  • Plan and oversee special events, retreats, and outreach opportunities
  • Coordinate youth participation in churchwide events
  • Build relationships with local schools and community partners
