Overview

MinistryHub is collaborating with College Heights Church to find a Worship Pastor who will lead and develop a Christ-centered worship ministry. This role will focus on engaging and shepherding a multi-generational congregation while supporting the spiritual life and direction of the church amidst its growth and investment in future expansion.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and lead weekly worship services in collaboration with co-pastors
  • Select theologically sound and congregationally accessible music for a blended, multi-generational audience
  • Lead worship from a primary instrument, preferably guitar or keys, with vocal ability
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and shepherd volunteer musicians and tech team members
  • Lead rehearsals focusing on musical excellence and spiritual health
  • Maintain worship resources and systems, ensuring licensing compliance
  • Coordinate technical and production needs for worship services
  • Model a consistent relationship with Jesus Christ and pray for the worship ministry

Required skills

  • Strong vocal ability and proficiency in guitar or keys
  • Experience in worship leadership and volunteer management
  • Comfort with worship technology and production environments
  • Ability to guide worship flow and coach musicians
  • Relational maturity and emotional intelligence
  • Alignment with Wesleyan theology
