Overview

Clevanoo LLC is seeking a Workers Compensation Paralegal with over 4 years of experience in workers' compensation law. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to manage a high volume of cases while supporting busy attorneys.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of pleadings including motions, subpoenas, notices, and requests for production
  • Coordination and scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions
  • Managing deadlines and preparing attorneys for appointments
  • Drafting and composing routine correspondence
  • Handling incoming mail and communication with clients and opposing counsel

Required skills

  • 4+ years of workers' compensation legal assistant or paralegal experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Typing speed of 50-60 wpm
  • Experience with case management systems like Client Profiles/Aderant
  • Excellent organizational, secretarial, and clerical skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
