Overview

Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Women's Health Care Center in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on providing individualized patient care in a supportive environment, with responsibilities primarily centered around gynecology patients in a clinic setting, without the need for call, nights, or weekends.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care for gynecology patients
  • Complete patient charting and manage phone calls
  • Conduct patient education and assist with treatments
  • Administer medications and send prescriptions
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures such as pap smears and IUD placements
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and procedures

Required skills

  • National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
  • Unrestricted, active licensure in Texas or ability to obtain
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and treatment plan development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to make autonomous care decisions
  • One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
