REPORTS TO: Director of Professional Services DIRECT REPORTS: N/A Travel: 30% JOB SUMMARY:As an ERP Distribution Consultant for ComTec Solutions, you are responsible for providing consulting support to our clients who are distributors using Prophet 21 as their ERP. Working directly with other ComTec Solutions team members and clients, you have the responsibility to accurately understand the clients' business needs and provide a solution that will range from simple to complex. You will deliver software implementations via consulting activities from kickoff to Go-Live on time, on budget and to the agreed scope, as well as provide ongoing client support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Be the trusted advisor to clients on system configuration and implementation, using Epicor's signature methodology for problem identification, implementation, documentation, testing and trainingCommunicate with customers to determine needs, and contribute solution design as well as overall business strategyInterpret requirements data and identify any gaps between current state of purchased modules and desired functionality in future stateManage project issues and coordinate activities and schedules with both clients and internal team members to resolve in an effective and timely mannerAssist with generating quote specifications and proposal generationAbility to adhere to project timelines and meet Service Level Agreement goalsProvide support for clients in a help desk capacity and assist in troubleshooting application questionsProvide on-site training and consulting for clients if necessaryAccurately scoping problems to understand business challenges and offering effective solutions that may include one or more of the following: user training, system changes, business process improvements, existing application functionality. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain daily timesheet and expense report entries and submit them accurately and timely Other duties as required TECHNICAL SKILLS: Working knowledge of P21 with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Experience with WWMS or similar warehouse management systems is preferred. Strong background in process review and design. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Distribution environment experience OR P21 consulting experience.
