Overview

Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join their team at Nurture Women's Health in Frisco, TX. This clinic-focused role involves providing individualized patient care in a supportive environment with no required nights or weekends.

Key responsibilities

  • See obstetrics and gynecology patients
  • Complete patient charting and manage patient calls
  • Administer medications and send prescriptions
  • Diagnose and manage women's health conditions
  • Counsel patients on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Perform and assist with minimally invasive procedures

Required skills

  • Completion of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program
  • At least 2 years of labor & delivery or women's health RN experience
  • Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) through AANP or ANCC
  • Unrestricted, active Texas APRN-CNP license or ability to obtain
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
  • Strong communication skills
