Welder Recruiting Job OrderTIG welders needed in the Geneva area! 1st and 2nd shift starting at $24 per hour based on experience. Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30 pm 2pm to 10:30 pm Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.Execute layout welding without the use of templates, using blueprints, measuring tools, and layout marks to determine accurate fit-up.Operate orbital welding equipment to perform precise welds on round or tubular steel components (as applicable).Conduct tack welding to secure parts in place before final welding or assembly.Interpret and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences and joint designs.Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and tolerances.Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve issues that may affect production or quality.Follows all Alfagomma's safety programs and requirements.Adheres to production schedule.Reads, assembles, and welds from blueprints.Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.Tig and spot welding experience required.
