Overview

Curry Supply Company is seeking a Welder 1 to perform a variety of welding and repair duties in Gilbert, Arizona. The role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work with heavy machinery, focusing on MIG, stick, and brazing welding processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, stick, and brazing welding processes
  • Layout, position, align, and fit components together
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure them for welding
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
  • Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions for repairs and fabrication
  • Coordinate work tasks with other personnel within and across departments
  • Report relevant information to the immediate supervisor
  • Respond to inquiries or requests for information

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in welding
  • MIG welding skills
  • Stick welding skills
