Overview

The Wealth Advisor at Midland States Bank is responsible for providing investment recommendations and advice to clients, focusing on their distinct financial needs and objectives. This role emphasizes the development and maintenance of relationships with clients while actively marketing financial planning and investment management services.

Key responsibilities

  • Market financial planning, trust, and investment management services to high-value prospects and clients
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide ongoing financial advice
  • Recommend appropriate products and services based on clients' objectives and risk tolerance
  • Maintain contact with clients to identify new sales opportunities
  • Represent the Bank in community organizations to enhance its image
  • Develop and maintain a referral network for additional sales opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and Bank standards
  • Document sales activities for performance tracking

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CFP preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in financial services
  • Knowledge of financial and estate planning techniques
