Overview

HOH Water Technology is seeking a Water Pretreatment Equipment Technician to provide preventative maintenance and service in the water treatment industry. This full-time role, based in Wixom, Michigan, is suitable for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in pretreatment equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and emergency service on water pretreatment equipment including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and chemical feed systems
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs including resin cleaning, filter changes, and valve rebuilds
  • Conduct water quality testing and document results
  • Startup and commission new systems, verifying installations and programming controllers
  • Complete accurate service documentation and make repair recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with customers about findings and recommendations

Required skills

  • 3-5 years experience in pretreatment equipment
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Valid Driver's License
