We offer competitive pay, great benefits, and leadership development opportunities with career-growth potential join our team today!Hours: 12:00pm-10:00pm, Wednesday-SaturdayThe Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective operation of the wastewater treatment facility, as well as the potable water supply and distribution system, while ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. This position requires maintaining all necessary state and local certifications to operate the facility and working under the daily direction of the Plant Maintenance Manager.Prepare and submit monthly Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA-DEP).Prepare and submit required monitoring and compliance reports to the Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC).Conduct daily wastewater testing and coordinate required weekly testing with approved third-party vendors.Review, approve, and process all wastewater treatment-related invoices and charges, forwarding documentation to Accounts Payable for payment.Maintain and service all wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring proper documentation of maintenance activities and regulatory compliance records.Communicate with plant personnel to assess water flow requirements and provide updates on Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) performance.Prepare and distribute daily water flow and water usage reports to appropriate personnel.Coordinate and manage annual sludge hauling contracts and services.Monitor the incoming water supply and distribution system, recommending and coordinating necessary maintenance and repairs.Partner with chemical vendors to facilitate required testing, evaluate treatment performance, and implement recommended process improvements.Develop, maintain, and oversee daily wastewater hauling schedules to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.Attend and successfully complete all required training and continuing education to maintain applicable Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) licenses and certifications.Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and the organization.You could be a great fit if you have these things Must be at least 18 years of ageClass C Subclass 1 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator LicenseWater Treatment Plant Operator Class C Subclass 9 & 13 LicensesMust work in a team environmentMaintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedulePerform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelinesBe responsible for Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality PrinciplesPerform all other duties as assignedOur associates enjoy these awesome benefits Medical, dental, vision & prescriptionLife insurance, short-term & long-term disability401(k) with company match immediately vestedEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Earn vacation and PTOEducational assistance reimbursementCompany bonus planFree ice cream and beverages!Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.The employee is required to talk and/or hear in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are high (PPE required).The employee is required to wear mandated PPE based on assigned job area.The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in a manufacturing environment for 8+ hours.The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks.Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or cra
