Groom Construction Co Inc is seeking a highly motivated Wallpaper Installer to join their retail division in Los Angeles. This role involves ensuring high-quality finishes in various construction projects while maintaining customer satisfaction, requiring travel and a valid driver's license.

Key responsibilities

  • Measure walls accurately to determine wallpaper needs
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing for proper adhesion
  • Apply wallpaper using appropriate techniques to eliminate bubbles and wrinkles
  • Use tools such as knives, brushes, and seam rollers for a seamless finish
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to understand design specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety protocols and industry standards

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in wallpaper installation or related interior finishing
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Knowledge of different wallpaper types, adhesives, and installation techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification
