Overview

Jobot is seeking a VP of Business Development to join their growing team in Rockville, Maryland. This role involves supporting business development efforts primarily within the public health and government agency sectors, focusing on bringing in new contracts and managing proposal generation and deal management.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the business development team in securing new contracts
  • Attend conferences and meetings to network and establish connections
  • Create target lists and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage cradle-to-grave deal processes
  • Determine required resources for project staffing upon contract execution

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-15 years of experience in business development
  • Strong understanding of FAR and DFAR regulations
  • Experience in public health or government agency environment
  • Networking and proposal generation expertise
