Overview

Drubridge LLC is seeking a Vesta NG-911 Systems Trainer to provide hands-on training for emergency communications personnel transitioning to the Next Generation 9-1-1 system in New York City. This role is crucial during a major technology upgrade, focusing on delivering effective training to ensure user readiness and successful system implementation.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive technical training on the Vesta NG-911 platform to groups of 10-15 adult learners
  • Design and facilitate training sessions for non-technical public safety professionals
  • Adapt training delivery to accommodate various learning styles and shift schedules
  • Support end-users during go-live and post-implementation phases
  • Provide feedback to project leadership on training effectiveness
  • Travel to various on-site NYC emergency communications locations as needed

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator in public safety, emergency communications, law e
  • Experience delivering technical training to non-technical audiences
  • Strong platform skills and classroom presence
  • Familiarity with 9-1-1 operations and emergency dispatch workflows
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, or weekends
  • New York City residency or ability to commute to NYC locations
  • Preferred experience as a 9-1-1 dispatcher or public safety trainer
  • APCO or NENA certifications preferred
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology rollouts in a government setting
