Overview

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Urology Physician Assistant for outpatient coverage in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The role is available for a candidate with any valid state license who can provide care starting as soon as possible and continuing for an ongoing period. The position requires independent practice with specific duties related to outpatient consults and limited inpatient rounding.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient coverage for urology patients
  • Conduct outpatient consults and manage catheter procedures
  • Perform bladder scans and oversee PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation)
  • Work independently in a clinic setting
  • Provide care Tuesday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Required skills

  • Valid state license (WI obtained during credentialing)
  • Experience in urology or outpatient care
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of catheter management and PTNS
