Overview

Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Urgent Care team in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This role offers a blend of clinical independence in a supportive environment, with flexible scheduling that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage your own patient panel in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Provide care for approximately 30 patients per day
  • Perform minor procedures such as suturing, casting, and splinting as needed
  • Collaborate with a collegial team while maintaining clinical independence

Required skills

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting
  • Comfortable performing urgent care basics
  • Ability to work independently with a diverse patient panel
  • Open to new graduates with strong backgrounds in emergency or urgent care
