Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant for their Urgent Care team in Kennesaw, Georgia. The role involves working alongside Emergency Medicine physicians in a high-acuity setting, performing a variety of procedures and patient assessments while maintaining a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

  • Work alongside Emergency Medicine physicians in urgent care settings
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments with 10-15 patient encounters per shift
  • Order and interpret diagnostics for acute conditions
  • Perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Work varying shifts including morning, evening, and mid-overnight blocks
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and clear communication skills
  • Maintain a commitment to patient-centered care
