Overview

Oland Farms LLC is looking for an experienced Turkey Farm Manager to lead daily operations of a commercial turkey farm in Southwest Missouri. This role requires a strong background in poultry management, with a focus on flock health, biosecurity, and farm operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations across multiple commercial turkey houses
  • Monitor bird health, mortality, feed consumption, water systems, and flock performance
  • Maintain proper ventilation, temperature, humidity, and air quality
  • Coordinate flock placements and cleaning between flocks
  • Maintain strict biosecurity and sanitation standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs
  • Supervise farm staff and daily workflow
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders including ownership and veterinarians
  • Assist with modernization and operational improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate operational and flock records

Required skills

  • 5+ years of commercial poultry experience
  • Management or lead-operator experience on a commercial farm
  • Strong understanding of ventilation management and flock health
  • Experience with major poultry integrators
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for farm equipment
