Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking a full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver in Brighton, Michigan. This role involves making 50 to 90 weekly multi-stop deliveries to stores of a major coffee chain, ensuring safe loading and unloading of products, and maintaining a professional demeanor with customers. Drivers will benefit from a structured schedule and the ability to be home daily.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries to major coffee chain stores
  • Load and unload products using hand dollies and lift gates
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers
  • Drive late model Penske trucks with temperature-controlled trailers
  • Follow all federal and state regulations and company guidelines

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to regulations
