Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Johnston, Iowa. The role involves delivering medical supplies and linen carts to various locations while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers. Drivers will enjoy home daily schedules and are part of a dedicated team focused on safety and service.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver palletized medical supplies and linen carts
  • Average 16 to 20 stops per week
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Drive late model trucks designed for comfort and safety

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs
