Overview

Supplemental Health Care is seeking Physical Therapists for school-based roles in Leonardtown, Maryland. With over 40 years of experience, the company aims to connect healthcare professionals with suitable assignments that align with their career goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
  • Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
  • Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
  • Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
  • May be asked to travel between school locations
  • May supervise assistants

Required skills

  • Maryland Physical Therapist License
  • Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred
  • Skills in collaboration, evaluating students, record keeping, and therapy program development
