Job Description

Overview

The McNabb Center is seeking Master's-Level Therapists and Counselors to join their team in Knox, Blount, and Anderson Counties, Tennessee. The organization focuses on improving the lives of individuals through a variety of outpatient and inpatient therapeutic services, including family treatment, social services, and crisis response.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals and families
  • Provide individual and group therapy across various programs
  • Facilitate recovery support and referrals for Medication-Assisted Treatment
  • Support families through parenting education and supervised visitation
  • Conduct crisis assessments and treatment for individuals in acute behavioral health crises

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Licensure in relevant areas (LPC, LMFT, LCSW preferable)
  • Crisis intervention techniques
  • Patient assessment and treatment planning
  • Experience with substance use disorder treatment
