Overview

AboveAir Technologies is a leading manufacturer of high performance HVAC systems designed for precision and energy efficiency. The Technical Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the design, development, and application of HVAC products, bridging engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing functions to meet project requirements and performance expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise on AboveAir HVAC products to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Support the design, testing, and validation of new and existing HVAC products.
  • Review project specifications and engineering drawings for compliance with standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting field issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve production challenges and improve quality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as installation guides and performance data.
  • Participate in product improvement initiatives based on customer feedback.
  • Provide training and technical support for sales teams and service technicians.
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in HVAC or related manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and airflow principles
  • Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Familiarity with controls, PLCs, and building automation systems
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
