We help clients improve their operations.ProSidian Seeks a Team Lead Contract Specialist located in Dallas, TX to support an engagement for a United States Federal Financial Agency Government Corporation providing deposit insurance to depositors in U.S. commercial banks and savings institutions.The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide professional support services to The Agency's acquisition personnel in a variety of acquisition-related functions. These functions include assistance in the pre-award, post-award and closeout phases of the acquisition cycle, and analyzing functions related to acquisition policies and procedures. Acquisition-related tasks include, but not limited to: market research, development of milestone schedules, analyze cost or price proposals, prepare and process technical evaluation documents, provide administrative assistance, coordinate contract close-outs and other administrative actions.Acquisition Support Services Candidates shall work to support requirements as a Team Lead Contract Specialist and perform a wide variety of tasks, spanning all phases of acquisition life-cycle, that supports Contracting Officers with acquisition planning, market research and source list development formal and informal source selection processes. Timely processing and tracking of contract administration-related actions and contract closeout functions. In addition, to above, this position will perform the day-to-day management of Contractor's overall acquisition support operations. Team Lead Contract Specialist is responsible for the overall management and coordination for the uniform, equipment and laundry services a federal training academy focused on public protection and shall act as a central point of contact with the Government.Issuance of RFPs, receipt of proposals, proposal evaluation documentation and contract awardsPreparation of contract modifications and maintenance of the contract files in the Government Agency's electronic filing systemOrganizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities and is responsible for the supervision of all onsite Contractor Personnel.The Team Lead Contract Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, such as accounting, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.Two (2) years supervisory/management experience and ten (10) years specialized experience in commercial or government contractingProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelCompetencies RequiredLeadership, Oral and Written Communication, Government Contracting, Negotiation, Research and Analysis, ContractsCore competenciesTeamwork ability to foster teamwork collaboratively as a participant, and effectively as a team leaderLeadership ability to guide and lead colleagues on projects and initiativesBusiness Acumen understanding and insight into how organizations perform, including business processes, data, systems, and peopleCommunication ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders
