Overview

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Team-Based Financial Advisor in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing personalized financial guidance while working alongside experienced financial advisors. The position allows for career growth, with mentorship and training opportunities to develop into a traditional financial advisor role.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet with potential clients to build long-term relationships based on shared values and goals
  • Educate clients on financial decisions regarding investments, insurance, retirement, and generosity
  • Build a personal network through local nonprofits, churches, and businesses
  • Develop skills and best practices as a financial advisor

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Licensing in Life, Health, and Annuity, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and Series 6, 63, 7, or 66
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to thrive with minimal supervision
  • Strong self-starter mindset with multitasking abilities
  • Ability to foster relationships with clients
  • Technical computer aptitude with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Ability to maintain integrity of confidential information
