Job Description

Overview

As a Teacher at Carlos Gilbert Elementary with KinderCare Education, you will play a key role in shaping confident learners during out-of-school hours. You will implement KinderCare's curriculum, create a nurturing environment, and partner with parents, along with mentoring less experienced teachers to foster an effective learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner and connect with parents for optimal child care and education
  • Support center success by achieving goals around enrollment and engagement

Required skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Meet state qualifications for the role
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Ability to engage in physical activities with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English
