Overview

KPMG is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Business Tax Services practice in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services for asset management clients, utilizing KPMG's extensive resources and collaborative culture to support high-profile clients with complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the primary point of contact for client relationships.
  • Oversee financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets.
  • Lead and manage teams of tax professionals on client projects.
  • Deliver high-quality tax service and advice to clients.
  • Participate in market and business activities external to the firm.

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
