Overview

Associated Fire Protection, a reputable Fire Protection Firm based in Omaha, is looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Systems Estimator to join their team. The role involves developing project elements and preparing deliverables for Fire Protection Solutions, with a focus on estimating costs and managing bids during the project planning and pre-construction phases.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop basic project elements and assist in the preparation of deliverables for Fire Protection Solutions
  • Reviews, interprets, and accurately estimates scope of work from project documents
  • Evaluate, support, and develop presentations for estimate proposals, budgeting, and bidding
  • Collect and correlate project-related cost and schedule data
  • Manage bids and provide guidance in project planning and pre-construction phases

Required skills

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in fire protection systems design or related field
  • Experience in electrical and electronic systems estimating
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or other construction management software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 1+ years of Fire Alarm Systems estimating (desired)
  • NICET Certifications (beneficial)
  • Previous construction project management experience (desired)
