Overview

Concord Physicians Solutions is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Fort Myers, Florida. The role involves both ambulatory and inpatient care within an academic/community hospital setting, with a variable schedule and support staff provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and perform thoracic surgeries with a focus on robotic procedures
  • Oversee inpatient care from Monday to Friday with on-call duties as needed
  • Maintain a surgical case load of 6 to 10 cases per week
  • Complete required documentation and case logs as mandated
  • Ensure adherence to medical licensing requirements and maintain a clean NPDB report

Required skills

  • MD/DO certification in Thoracic Surgery
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible status
  • Active Florida medical license
  • Experience in robotic surgery
  • Ability to provide 50+ de-identified primary source case logs
