Overview

Cross Country Locums is seeking a Cardiovascular Physician for ongoing inpatient work in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The role involves 24-hour call coverage and sees an average of 2 admissions per call period, with a focus on trauma management and surgical cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide solo coverage from 6 PM to 7 AM
  • Rounding on consults and surgical cases
  • Manage trauma II cases with an average of 2 admissions on call
  • Perform surgeries and IP consults, including CVICU rounding on post-ops
  • Handle typical cases such as CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO, single chamber pacers, and thoracic procedures

Required skills

  • Active PA license
  • Board Certified (BC)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of case logs
  • Epic EMR proficiency
