We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting multiple hospitality businesses.What You'll DoAs a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring the financial integrity of multiple entities within our organization. Working closely with leadership and property teams, you will contribute to the financial success of our operations while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. Requirements: Prepare and record journal entries to support accurate financial reportingPrepare monthly financial statements for assigned hotel and hospitality propertiesReview Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable close processes for accuracy and completenessReconcile and verify bank statements and related account balancesAssist external auditors with year-end reviews and annual auditsMonitor and maintain property-level accounting controls, including cash management and revenue recognition proceduresProcess Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions as neededSupport the annual budgeting and forecasting processIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficienciesCollaborate with property leadership and corporate management to support business objectivesWhat We're Looking ForStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organizational and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to handle confidential financial information with discretionHospitality accounting experience is a plus, but not requiredWhy Join Duprey Hospitality?At Duprey Hospitality, we're passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences-and that starts with building a great team.
