Overview

Planet Fitness Sr. Treasury AnalystThe Sr. Treasury Analyst will support Planet Fitness' worldwide cash management and forecasting, debt management and on-going compliance, operational banking structures, and treasury/bank systems. The Sr. Treasury Analyst will assist in managing cash, maintaining banking relationships, ensuring compliance, and optimizing working capital. The Sr. Treasury Analyst will interact and provide oversight from a financial perspective around Planet Fitness' various insurance policies and renewals. The Sr. Analyst will also prepare reports for senior leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders regarding cash, debt, and treasury activities. The ideal candidate has experience in treasury operations, financial analysis and corporate debt management. This role will require working our hybrid schedule out of the Hampton, NH office.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of the Company's cash flow forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual) and performs financial modeling, analyzing budget to actual results.Monitor daily cash availability, requirements and activity across multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring accurate cash balances and transaction detail are pulled for specific bank accounts. Consistently update cash forecast Excel files for weekly actuals.Oversee cash reconciliation files and waterfall charts, preparing emails to outline the Company's weekly cash position.Request approvals for wire limits and transfers and manage the online account associated with the wires.Run bank statement reports, coordinate bank account requests and handle the opening and closing of bank accounts.Perform foreign exchange and interest rate risk calculations and reports findings to leadership.Support the administration of debt compliance, including coordination and strategic problem solving with various internal and external partners.Administer Company purchasing cards.Coordinate annual FBAR reporting for compliance.Maintain SOX compliance in treasury and related areas.Prepare WBS journal entries, pricing updates, certificate preparations and compliance.Respond to tax notices and runs reports for tax payments, tracking tax overpayments by state.Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues including benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether it fits Company's requirements.Recommend, implement, and maintain treasury control & process improvements.Provide analytical and other support in response to changing business conditions and requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field3-5+ years of experience in financial, banking, and/or corporate treasury. CTP or CFA designation a plusTreasury experience in supporting domestic and international operational banking relationships, corporate cash management, payment processing, investments, and forecastingKnowledge of franchising, a plusExperience with Securitization, a plusKnowledge of treasury software comfort with Great Plains or equivalent general ledger systemAdvanced spreadsheet and modeling skills, including experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analysesKnowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instrumentsGeneral knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for investments and other financial instrumentsProficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought-out conclusionsDeep appreciation for and have a strong interest in process improvementSelf-motivated to seek out answers, generate new ideas, and further develop skillsExtremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectivesExcellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationAble to establish and maintain effective, collaborativ
