Overview

L3Harris Technologies is looking for a Senior Specialist, Integration/Test Engineer to join their team in Bailey, Texas. The role involves working on the integration and testing of airborne and ground-based systems, focusing on maintaining SIGINT/COMINT mission systems while ensuring system performance and readiness.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct subsystem pre-operational checks based on engineering documentation
  • Configure and prepare LRUs and subsystem components for operation
  • Accomplish subsystem and system level Ground Test Plans
  • Perform insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to component level
  • Identify subsystem failures and recommend repair actions
  • Support EMI/Tempest testing for airborne subsystems
  • Engage in software and hardware development integration activities
  • Ensure system flight readiness through pre-flight activities
  • Utilize various test equipment for troubleshooting and testing

Required skills

  • 6-8 years of experience in SIGINT/COMINT systems
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment and COTS hardware
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs and COTS software applications
  • U.S. DOD Top Secret Security clearance with SCI
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication skills
