Overview

The Sr Financial Planning Advisor at Vaco by Highspring is a critical role responsible for managing a substantial portfolio of client relationships, overseeing a book of business with annual revenue exceeding $1 million. The advisor will deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services while also engaging in business development to grow the firm's client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary advisor for a large portfolio of established client relationships
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive, goals-based financial plans
  • Analyze complex financial information to assist client decision-making
  • Identify and address gaps, risks, or inefficiencies in financial plans
  • Communicate financial strategies effectively to clients
  • Participate in professional and community networking to support firm growth
  • Cultivate new business opportunities and referral relationships

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CFP certification
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning or investment advisory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial planning tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
