Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri is responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders. This role offers a flexible work schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform therapy interventions using standard therapy techniques.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans.
  • Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.
  • Assist with patient discharges from speech therapy services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
  • State licensure in Speech Language Pathology for applicable states
  • Strong communication and therapeutic skills
