Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our team in Lawrenceville ,NJ.Work Schedule: Monday Friday 12:30pm 9:00pm; ability to cover 1st and 3rd shift and weekends as needed Job Responsibilities:Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name departmentHelp lead the team in their daily processes and proceduresAssist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testingOversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areasEncourage process improvements and best practicesPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracyResolve any production errors as requested by managementResearch and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessaryEngage in continuous process and service level improvementsPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracyResponsible for enforcing and managing policies and proceduresPerform administrative duties as neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalent3 years or more experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production.Preferred Qualifications:Associates degree4 years or more experience working in a clinical laboratory1 year or more experience as a people leaderJob Additional Standards:Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills; both written and verbalHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environmentAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionFamiliarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and proceduresAble to pass a standardized color blindness testAre you detail oriented, process focused, and enjoy leading others? Pay Range: $17.75 - $22.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market dataBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
