Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Systems Engineer focused on Cloud Systems to join their Narya Program team. This role involves applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and participating in the development of cutting-edge space missions. Candidates should have a strong background in software systems, cloud infrastructure, and experience with Agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply MBSE methodologies to develop and manage system models using Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Design and implement software systems and microservice architectures for space mission engineering
  • Decompose high-level requirements into detailed specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Conduct system-level analyses and trade studies
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as system architecture diagrams and test plans
  • Support verification and validation of system requirements through testing and analysis

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of experience or Graduate Degree with minimum 4 years of experience in relevant f
  • Experience with requirements decomposition and systems modeling in Cameo Systems Modeler or similar tools
  • Proficiency in microservice architecture and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
