Overview

Event One FX, LLC is a Special Effects company providing Lasers, Smoke, Pyro, Flames, Snow and many other effects for Live Productions such as sporting events, movies, and music videos. This is a great opportunity to join a fun, fast-growing company in the Special Effects industry.Summary:Responsible for working in the warehouse at Event One FX. This position requires a mechanical background and understanding of electrical systems and components. The Shop Coordinator should have a strong commitment to safety, be a leader, possess the skills to perform tasks with a safety-first mentality, and be able to execute within deadlines. Some industry experience is preferred.General Requirements, include but not limited to:High school diploma or equivalent.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as very strong attention to detail.Highly motivated with an ability to work independently.Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Availability to work some evening and weekends as needed.Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed.Understanding of OSHA requirements within a warehouse.Excellent research and problem-solving skills.The ability to collaborate with other departments on projects and execute on the plans.Duties and Responsibilities, include but not limited to: Ensuring safety, tidiness, and security of the warehouse is always maintained. Perform maintenance on gear as well as company vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance around the building as needed. Responsible for inventory of gear and product. Responsible for updating software of location of gear and gear status. Follow pack lists and pull gear to prepare shows for shipping. Receive and put away returning gear or inventory products. Attention to detail/quality control is a must when packing shows and working on equipment.Physical Requirements, include but not limited to: Prolonged periods of standing or sitting in a warehouse type environment. Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the workplace. Be able to move up to 75 lbs occasionally, and up to 25 lbs frequently.
