Job Description: Join our client for the school year as a Special Education Teacher supporting behavior support classrooms in Worcester County, Massachusetts. This opportunity is based on-site at a school location and focuses on serving students who need a highly structured learning environment. Position Details: Special Education Teacher Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: 06/2027 Schedule: Monday - Friday Grade Levels: 3rd - 5th Location: on site School Year: Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:Provide instruction and classroom support for students with emotional or behavioral disorders in a structured setting. Implement structured behavioral interventions to help students access learning successfully. Teach and reinforce coping strategies that support student self-regulation and participation. Build and support student social skills through consistent routines and guided practice. Apply PBIS or other evidence-based behavioral approaches to promote positive student behavior.Special Education Teacher Qualifications:Special education teaching background appropriate for working with students with emotional or behavioral disorders. Ability to implement structured behavioral interventions in a classroom setting. Experience supporting student coping strategies and social skills development. Familiarity with PBIS and/or other evidence-based behavioral methods.
