Culinary Dropout is seeking a Sous Chef in Omaha, Nebraska, as part of their growing team under Fox Restaurant Concepts. This role involves managing restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality food, and creating memorable dining experiences in a high-energy environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning
  • Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations
  • Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness
  • Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Coach, lead, and develop the restaurant team
  • Drive continuous improvement

Required skills

  • Culinary skills
  • High-volume restaurant management experience (2+ years)
  • Understanding of business operations and financials
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
  • Proficiency in POS systems and digital reservation systems like OpenTable
  • Menu planning and budget management
  • Strong team leadership and customer service skills
