Job Description

Overview

The Sonographer at SSM Health Bellevue is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures. This role involves ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining regulatory compliance, and assisting in various imaging procedures. The position is full-time with a schedule of 40 hours per week during the day.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology
  • Set up and adjust equipment for imaging exams
  • Implement safety standards and quality control procedures
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the department
  • Ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions
  • Work in a constantly alert and safe manner

Required skills

  • Completion of Sonography program
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with multiple specialties
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
  • Experience not required
