Very detailed, intricate pieces. Previous experience in soldering items like PCB boards, motherboards, small resistors, micro chips, etc. All shifts needed.Position SummaryThe primary role of the Soldering Technician is to complete the general assembly, repair, calibration, soldering and trouble shooting of various instruments and products.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, test and calibrate electronic, mechanical, and electrolytic components as required. Fabrication of some components may be required.Be familiar with and able to operate test and calibration equipment used by the instrument shopRead, interpret and understand written or verbal requirements, procedures, and specifications in order to perform assigned tasksMust be able to use a variety of small hand tools such as hammers, screw drivers, soldering equipment, etcIdentify non-conforming parts/materials during assembly process and notify supervisorAssume responsibility for in-house quality control - adhere to ISO 9001:2015 proceduresMaintain conformance with Company's regulations, policies and proceduresMaintain good housekeeping and exercise safe work practicesExperience and Skills High school diploma, GED or equivalent Excellent hand / eye coordination Attention to detail and a high commitment to quality Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Good written and oral communication skillsEquipment Used and Working Conditions A variety of small hand tools including soldering equipment Lifting loads up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniquesAll candidates would be subject to a background check and drug screen upon hire.
