Will also need to complete a 30 min on-site soldering skills demonstration.Position SummaryThe Touch-Up / Soldering Operator is responsible for visually inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and performing manual touch-up or repair of soldering defects to ensure product quality and reliability.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect PCBAs for soldering defects and perform manual repairs as neededInstall and hand solder through-hole and/or SMT components when requiredFollow detailed written work instructions accuratelyRecord data, results, and observations in required documentation or systemsAdhere to all safety, quality, and ESD proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with manufacturing standardsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBasic computer skills to access work instructionsAbility to inspect and hand solder using a magnifier or microscopeAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrior experience soldering through-hole and SMT components and connectors onto PCBsWorking knowledge of IPC-A-610 standardsExperience in an ISO 9001 electronics manufacturing environmentWorking Conditions Manufacturing/production floor environmentMay require sitting for extended periodsOccasional lifting of 10-25 lbs Company Description Just In Time Staffing seeks to pair top candidates with opportunities that will be mutually beneficial for both them and the employers.
